For this bespoke chest of drawers we wanted to challenge what you would expect a piece of furniture to be created from, therefore we worked closely with the client and decided on fabricating a piece of furniture that resembled a metal cube without any real indication of what lies within. The piece is freestanding and features our laser cut ‘box’ housing base, only this time with three points of contact with the ground, therefore regargless of the floor it is placed on the piece of furniture will not rock, a useful feature when installed in the old houses in Bristol.
